Credit Controller (AR), Finance Department

Naftemporiki Media Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Finance team at our headquarters in Piraeus.

The ideal candidate will manage the full accounts receivable cycle across multiple group entities, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong client relationships.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience (2+ years) in AR, credit control, or a related finance role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Solid understanding of credit control principles and collections processes
• Experienced level in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel)
• Knowledge of Entersoft ERP will be considered a strong asset
• Experience in the media or publishing industry will be highly appreciated
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle public sector clients and manage the associated administrative and bureaucratic processes
• Fluent in Greek; working knowledge of English (oral and written)
• Teamwork, discretion, and a results-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Management of accounts receivable across three group companies
• Monitoring and following up on outstanding invoices and payment deadlines
• Collections from private sector clients as well as public sector entities (including handling of required documentation, platforms, and procedures)
• Reconciliation of customer accounts and banks
• Communication with internal teams (e.g. sales dpt.) and external clients
• Preparation of aging reports and collection status updates
• Coordination with the accounting department for month-end closing
