A well-established shipping company operating a fleet of bulk carriers is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join its technical team at its offices in the Northern Suburbs of Athens. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Purchasing Officer will be responsible for the procurement and forwarding of spare parts, stores, and lubricants required for the efficient operation and maintenance of the company's bulker fleet. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role of a shipping company as well as strong computer literacy, familiarity in use of ERP software modules, excellent command of English language (both written and spoken), strong communication and organizational skills and team oriented attitude.
