Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd. is seeking to employ an experienced Purchaser for the Supply/Purchasing Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling and processing spare parts and stores requisitions.
- Forwarding and monitoring orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments regarding procurement requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records and utilizing relevant procurement software modules efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the purchasing department of a shipping company, with emphasis on spare parts, stores procurement and order forwarding.
- Flexibility and proficiency in the use of related purchasing and ERP software modules.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong PC literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
