Shipping company located in Voula (Athens) is looking for Assistant Ship Operator for bulk carrier and tanker vessels.
Requirements:
- educational qualification (e.g. university degree) in relevant field and/or seagoing experience
- minimum 2 years of experience in similar position
- fluent in English & computer literate
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the role include assisting the Operations department with:
- voyage planning & execution ensuring compliance with Charter Party
- hire, laytime calculations & demurrage handling
- port call co-ordination
- performance monitoring
- claims handling
- operational costs control
