A Shipping Company, is seeking to recruit a Technical Superintendent to join our Athens office for our wet & dry fleet.
Skills and experience:
- University degree from NTUA or from a foreign University and/or ex Chief engineer experience.
- Minimum 2 years office experience
- Experience on oil tankers preferably on chemical sector, (FRAMO)
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably on DANAOS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and management skills
- Time management and organizational skills
Job Requirements:
- Monitor vessel's PMS and act proactively
- Monitor and evaluate machinery performance
- Oversee daily technical operations
- Being familiar with Class / ISM / / Flag requirements and surveys
- Supervise, coach, train vessel's staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Team player and effective communication with other departments.
- English and computer literacy
- Project oversight, coordinate on various technical projects ensuring completion on time
