Seamar Management S.A., part of a Nasdaq-listed group managing an expanding fleet of dry-bulk carriers, is seeking an HSQE Officer with minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Support the HSQE department in implementing safety, quality and environmental procedures
- Monitor incidents, near misses and non-conformities and assist with reports and KPIs
- Support incident investigations and follow-up of corrective actions
- Prepare safety alerts, fleet circulars and HSQE training material
- Coordinate third-party inspections and external audits (ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, Flag)
- Maintain HSQE documentation and records in the company’s ERP systems and coordinate with Flag Administrations for dispensations
- Support crew training, pre-joining briefings and HSQE presentations
- Assist with the implementation of the company’s IMS across the fleet
