Site Engineer – STIRIXIS Group

Location: Athens (with travel to project sites in Greece & abroad)

The Role

We are looking for a Site Engineer who will play a critical role in the Execution phase of our projects — ensuring that what is designed is built accurately, efficiently, and without compromise. You will work closely with the Construction Manager, supporting the day-to-day execution on site while maintaining alignment with design intent, project specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise daily construction activities on site
• Ensure works are executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Monitor progress and report deviations to the Construction Manager
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers

Technical Coordination

• Review drawings and identify discrepancies or constructability issues
• Provide technical solutions in collaboration with design and construction teams
• Support the implementation of design details on site

Quality, Time & Cost Control

• Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones
• Monitor workmanship quality and compliance with standards
• Support cost control through proper material usage and site efficiency

Communication & Reporting

• Maintain clear and structured communication with the Construction Manager
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and issue logs
• Participate in site meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations on site
• Monitor and enforce safe working practices

Collaboration

You will work directly with:

• Construction Manager (your primary lead)
• Design team (architects, engineers, designers)
• External contractors and suppliers

What We Are Looking For

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in construction/site supervision
• Experience in commercial projects (retail, F&B, offices, hospitality preferred)
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and fast-paced projects

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of construction methods and detailing
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with project management and reporting tools
• Excellent knowledge Autocad

Education

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Fluent in Greek and English in both writing and speaking is a prerequisite
