Construction Foreman

BBI - Aktor RT Joint Venture: An exciting Joint Venture between Bouygues Batiment International S.A. and Aktor S.A., to build the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece. 

This iconic structure, with 50 floors and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece. Building our team, we are currently looking for a Supervisor Finishes Trades Podium to oversee the finishing trades on site. This role requires a professional with strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively and ensure safety standards are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various trades, ensuring quality control, and maintaining project timelines. This position offers an opportunity to work full-time on site, contributing to a significant construction project in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

• Supervise and coordinate finishing trades to ensure project specifications are met
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on site
• Inspect completed work, address and rectify any deficiencies in time
• Ensure availability of materials and tools and monitor inventory and place orders as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project progress
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules to meet deadlines efficiently
• Maintain daily logs and progress reports
• Track labor hours, material usage, and project milestones

Typical requirements and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Previous experience in the construction sector and in safety protocols
• Experience in finishing techniques and materials (e.g., drywall, paint, flooring)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to provide training and development opportunities for team members
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluency in English, spoken and written
