Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer  to join the construction of the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, in  Athens. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to resolve construction-related issues in a dynamic, high-profile environment. 

Job Description

  • Monitor the progress of construction works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and drawings.
  • Coordinate and mediate activities between the supervision team (supervisor) and the contractor to resolve technical and organizational issues.
  • Supervise finishing works
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of work,
  • Conduct daily inspections and resolve on-site technical issues.
  • Ensure work complies with project specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
  • Liaise with the QA/QC team to ensure quality benchmarks are achieved.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with other trades (MEP, structural, etc.).
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, material requisitions, and site logs.
  • Report and escalate issues to the Construction/Project Manager when needed.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and enforce HSE compliance on site.
  • Assist in managing snag lists and preparing the area for handover.
  • Respect of Health and Safety

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering for building works.
  • 5+ years of experience in Construction
  •  Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and installation procedures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with project drawings, method statements, and quality procedures. Preparation of tender packages for submission to the Engineer, RFIs, MARs, samples' collection and presentation and Tender Analysis. Quantity take-offs, BOQs, Schedules, Logs and Reports                                                           
  • Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate across disciplines.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Strong organizational skills and team spirit.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Leadership and site coordination skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
