Glyfada-based Ship Management Company is seeking to employ a Purchasing Officer
to join its Purchasing department where they will be responsible for
- coordinating the supplies of spares, victuals, stores, safety equipment and a variety of other items to the vessels
- obtaining/comparing quotations, placing orders and checking invoices
- liaising with the Forwarding department regarding delivery on board
- following up on the quality of delivered items
- drawing up reports/analysis whenever required
The ideal candidate:
- is fluent in English and Greek
- possesses excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills
- has a keen eye for detail
- is IT literate
Prior experience in the Purchasing or Procurement department of a Ship Management company is considered an advantage.
