Operator

Ship management company in Northern Suburbs, is seeking to recruit an experienced operator

 for its tanker & bulks fleet ( MRs and Panamax).

Skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a tanker/bulk carrier fleet in operations department
• Ability to multi task in a fast pace work environment
• Proactive and eager to be part of a dynamic and growing company
• Solid knowledge of post fixing handling
• BSc/MSc in Shipping Management, or a related field or ex-Mariner
• Perfect command of the English language and to be fully computer literate

Job Requirements:

• Handling vessels’ daily operations, including but not limited to providing Masters with voyage instructions, cargo tanks / holds cleaning/preparation, vessels’ performance monitoring, optimizing cargo carrying capacity, reviewing and/or preparing pre-stowage plans, handling port agents and DAs
• Following-up post-fixing matters such bills of lading issuance and handling of charter party disputes at entry level.
• Assisting in bunkering planning and procurement
• ability to interact with Masters, Charterers, Brokers, Agents and P&I association.
