Aegean Shipping Management S.A. is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Marine Superintendent.

The ideal candidate should cover the following requirements:

Qualifications

The ideal candidate preferably is an ex Master with sea – going experience in Dirty petroleum and Clean petroleum products or minimum Chief Officer background and must have minimum of 2 years of office experience.

• Excellent communication skills with Oil Majors and Consultants
• Fluent in English
• Familiar with Danaos software
• Team spirit and of good character is considered a must

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-vetting inspections on board the vessel assigned
• Attends the vessels assigned for USCG preparation
• Monitors the deck maintenance
• Ensures assigned vessels compliance with SMS, SIRE, TMSA and industry requirements
• Raises and monitors requisitions for spare parts following analysis of performance/inventory reports/vessels’ requisitions
• Assist with day to day departmental tasks
