Technical Coordinator

Halkidon is seeking a Technical Coordinator for its fleet of Tankers and Bulk Carriers. Candidates must hold Naval Architecture degree and be proficient in English.

The Technical Coordinator will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities to the maintenance and regulatory compliance of our fleet. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the Technical SMS documentation, ensuring compliance with TMSA standards
• Management of the vessels performance and e-PMS
• Liaising with vessel flags and classification societies
• Coordination and oversight of surveys, including diligent follow-up activities
• Proactive monitoring of and compliance with evolving maritime regulations
• Analysis and management of the technical department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives
• Supervision over the submission of environmental data to regulatory authorities (EU ETS, MRV etc)
• Effective communication with system manufacturers and the organization of service attendances
• Active collaboration with technical superintendents
• Compilation and analysis of departmental statistical data for the Management Review Meeting (MRM)
