Restaurant Manager / Supervisor (ref: RMIR19)

Where you’ll work:
The Food & Beverage department is responsible for providing superb guest service in the areas of food preparation and delivery whether be it in a buffet or in an a la carte restaurant, in a lobby bar or in a beach and pool bar. All guests are timely and professionally served and this could range from seating them to preparing orders and from receiving payment to providing a clean environment.
What you’ll do:
You will supervise food and beverage activities of your outlet and provide customer experiences which aim to exceed their expectations. In brief:
- Coordinate and supervise the entire operation of the restaurant
- Participate in the menu preparations, selling policy and food tasting
- Supervise/Monitor health and security standards are met
- Greet customers, handle all requests and complaints with an exceptionally professional manner; establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly basis
- Participate in the recruitment process and train new and current employees
What you need to bring:
- Enthusiasm, openness and a self-motivated personality eager to learn, develop and be part of a continuously growing team
- Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment
- 3-5 years of relevant experience within a restaurant, ideally within a hotel environment/ proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager/ Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Fluency in English (verbal). A second language would be highly appreciated
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism would be also highly appreciated
- Flexible to work long hours when needed
- Strong negotiation and people skills
