HQSE Superintendent                                                            

Aegean Shipping Management S.A. is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable HQSE Superintendent.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of work experience in similar position and cover the following requirements:

Qualifications

• Marine Officer or university degree in maritime studies
• Experience with Maritime Regulations, ISO Standards, TMSA3 and DryBMS requirements
• Experience with PSC & Flag Inspections
• Internal Auditor Certification
• Qualified Trainer
• Flexible with travelling abroad
• Computer literacy; knowledge of Danaos Software will be considered as an asset
• Proficient use of English
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor company’s & vessels' compliance with SMS requirements, maritime regulations, and industry’s standards requirements
• Prepare vessels for external ISM/MLC/ISPS Audits, PSC inspections and follow up of findings
• Conduct internal audits onboard
• Deliver training sessions onboard, related to SMS requirements, HQSE campaigns, audit findings and results of PSC & Flag inspections, ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed and corrective actions taken
• Identification of training needs and supporting the development and delivery of required training courses
