Veterinarian (based in Cyprus)

Job Description

• Provide advanced veterinary medical care, including diagnosis and surgery.
• Examine animals and determine the best treatment.
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care and welfare.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions, including emergencies and critical cases.
• Vaccinate animals and perform surgeries.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Candidate Profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Fluency in Greek & English, both verbal and written, any other language is considered an advantage.
• Board certification in a specialty area is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a senior veterinary role, demonstrating expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
• Communication Skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and interact positively with clients.
• Ability to make prudent decisions regarding the well-being of animals.
