DiL Fashion Group

DFG is a retail company whose origins date back to 1962, a family business which has evolved over the years mainly due to the entrepreneurial spirit created by its founders.

In 1962, two young men, Lefteris and Kostas Tsavdaroglou, guided by their mother, Olga, and motivated by their love and passion for creativity, took their first steps in their home city of Thessaloniki, opening their boutique, ‘Elena’, later renamed ‘DiL’, on Tsimiski Street.

1980 was a pivotal year for the development of the group, as Lefteris Tsavdaroglou, with the involvement and active contribution of his wife, Katerina, decided to make a new, separate start for themselves, opening a new branch of DiL at Tsimiski and Ag. Sofias street, where it remains up until today.

From 1982 to 2014, they opened MaxMara Franchise boutique and Marina Rinaldi Franchise boutique in Thessaloniki, MaxMara and Marina Rinaldi store in Larissa, Max&Co. Franchise in Thessaloniki and MaxMara flagship store in Athens. After these openings, it was decided to further extend the group’s activities in collaboration with Attica department stores opening shops in shops for MaxMara Weekend, MaxMara Studio, Marella, Penny Black, MAX&Co in Athens and Thessaloniki. In 2014, the group embarked on repositioning the Escada brand in the Greek market, starting with the group’s flagship store, DiL, in Thessaloniki.

With about 90 employees and a network of over 20 single-brand, multi-brand stores and shops-in-shop, the DFG operates in Athens, Thessaloniki and Larissa regions, while the passion and determination of its founder, Lefteris Tsavdaroglou, has been inherited by the next generation, his three children.  With the same dedication to hard work, and love and passion for creation, they have committed themselves to expanding their business on the basis of the same values and principles, as always, looking towards the future and continually searching out new challenges.
